Wichita State University recently launched a new system designed to collect demographic data from multiple sources across the state and store it in one place. The project is called the Kansas Data Trust, a program that is supported in part through a grant from the Information Network of Kansas.
Organizers hope the information can be used to address difficult issues such as homelessness and education.
Here is a news story providing more details on the program.
The Information Network of Kansas has granted more than $10 million dollars over the past 20 years to support innovative projects such as the Kansas Data Trust. The next grant period will be this May. For more information contact our office at 785-296-2408.
