Hays Public Library Now Accepting Credit Card Payments

Hays Public Library is pleased to announce the launch of KanPay Counter, a point-of-sale solution provided by Kansas.gov that conveniently processes credit card payments over-the-counter.

“We are excited to begin a new partnership with Kansas.gov. KanPay Counter is simple for us to use while also benefitting our customers with secure and convenient payment processing,” says Eric Norris, Hays Public Library Director.

KanPay Counter is designed specifically for state and municipal governments to process credit card payments. The partnership between Kansas.gov and the State operates under a self-funded model, and no tax dollars or library funds were used to develop and maintain the payment service.

Pay Your Kansas Property Taxes Online

Kansas property taxes are now being accepted online. The Kansas County Treasurer’s Association has partnered with Kansas.gov to provide a convenient online solution which allows constituents to process property tax payments electronically, from their desktop or mobile device by going to https://www.kansas.gov/propertytax/.

“We understand the need for Kansas residents to be able to make payments securely and efficiently. The Kansas County Treasurer’s Association encourages citizens to consider online payment options to reduce the amount of time Kansans spend in line,” said KCTA President Linda Coon.

What you will need to pay online:

A Kansas county property tax statement;
A form of payment (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or e-Check);
A KanAccess username and password (sign up here: www.kansas.gov/user).

Online payments are accepted November 1 through Dec 20, 2015, and again from January 1 through May 10, 2016.

Renew Your Kansas Real Estate License Online

The Kansas Real Estate Commission, in collaboration with Kansas.gov, provides a secure and efficient way to renew and pay for real estate licenses online. Real Estate licenses are set to renew on a staggered schedule over a two-year period, designated by the first letter of the licensee’s last name.

What you will need to renew online:

Valid form of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or Electronic Check
Current CEU hours (for list of requirements and exceptions visit Continuing Education)

Licensees are encouraged to renew at least 45 days prior to their license renewal due date to avoid late fees.

In addition to renewals, the license verification search provides the status of a real estate license in the State of Kansas. You may search licensees by name, license number and the city of the responsible broker. The license data is updated daily and is available free of charge as part of the Kansas Open Records Act.

Kansas Dental Board Online Renewal Application Goes Mobile

Dentists and hygienists in the state of Kansas can now renew their licenses online from their mobile device. The Kansas Dental Board License Renewal application, developed in partnership with Kansas.gov, allows dental professionals to take care of their renewals electronically, making the renewal process more efficient and user-friendly.

“Everyone appreciates the convenience offered by online renewals, especially when they can be completed on-the-go from a mobile device. We are proud of the new look and feel of our application and plan to continue to improve the service to best benefit our dental professionals in Kansas,” said Lane Hemsley, Executive Director for the Kansas Dental Board.

Kansas Division Of Vehicles Redesigns Subscriber Online Motor Vehicle Records Application

The Kansas Department of Revenue, Division of Vehicles, in collaboration with Kansas.gov, has launched a new, updated and responsive online motor vehicle records search application. Kansas.gov subscribers now have a new and more efficient experience in which they can access and securely pay for Kansas Motor Vehicle Records. The Kansas Division of Vehicles provides services to approximately two million licensed drivers throughout the state of Kansas. The department is pleased to provide subscribers mobile-friendly online access to view motor vehicle records. The responsive platform allows subscribers to access motor vehicle records from any device.

The Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board, in collaboration with Kansas.gov, provides a secure and efficient way to renew and pay for licenses online. The Behavioral Sciences License Renewal application was created to give licensees the opportunity to renew licenses from the comfort of their home or office by electronic check or credit card.

What you will need to renew online:

Valid form of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or Electronic Check

Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board Issued Wallet Card

In addition to renewals, the license verification application provides the status of a behavioral sciences licensee in the State of Kansas. You may search by first name, last name and license number.
